Suspicious Package at Indy Bus Terminal

IMPD bomb squad x-rays proved it was not a bomb.

INDIANAPOLIS--Indianapolis Police were keeping people away from a package at the Indianapolis Transit Center and bus terminal on Washington St., until they discovered it was not a bomb, but a bedroll.

The package was discovered around 10 Monday morning.

The IMPD bomb squad was called out and x-rayed the contents, which they determined was food and a bed roll.

The package was found on a bench under a blue cloth.

Several streets were shut down, but were opened again before 11.
