Teenager Sentenced to Six Years for Crash That Killed Clinton Co. Sisters

Halleigh and Callie Fullerton were watching TV when Alia Sierra drove into their living room in July 2017.

FRANKFORT, Ind. --  The Clinton County teenager who drove into a house and killed two sisters while they watched TV will spend the next few years behind bars.

A judge on Thursday sentenced 18-year-old Alia Sierra to a total of six years. She will spend two years behind bars, two years on house arrest, and two years on probation.

Sierra pleaded guilty two to counts of reckless homicide in September. She was charged as an adult, even though she was 17 years old at the time of the crash.

Investigators say Sierra was traveling at more than 100 mph when she lost control of her car and drove into a house, killing 17-year-old Halleigh Fullerton and 8-year-old Callie Fullerton while they watched TV. Their mother was seriously injured in the crash but survived.
