Turkey Flies Through Windshield, Injures Driver in Jackson County

The crash happened on U.S. 50 between Seymour and Brownstown.

JACKSON COUNTY, Ind.--A turkey flew through a windshield and injured a person driving a car Monday in Jackson County. 

The crash happened on U.S. 50 between Seymour and Brownstown. The driver is recovering. 

It is turkey season in Indiana, which means wild turkeys are on the move much more often than usual.

Police are urging you to be mindful of that, especially if you're driving in rural areas.
