Two Elementary Students Among Five Arrested After Threat Investigation

Investigators say the two students at Fairview Elementary School in Bloomington posted pictures and a video on Instagram holding guns and threatening another girl at the school and her brother.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Five people, including an 11-year-old and 12-year-old, were arrested after threats were made on social media against another student.

Investigators say the two students at Fairview Elementary School in Bloomington posted pictures and a video on Instagram holding guns and threatening another girl at the school and her brother. Police believe some of the students involved had been boyfriend and girlfriend.

Police later discovered went they went to a house in the 100 block of S. Park Ridge Road that both weapons in the photos and video were B.B. guns.

While searching the home, officers say Paris Leverston, 37, Laquita Perry-Leverston, 33, and a 17-year-old boy became disruptive and were arrested.

The 11-year-old and 12-year-old boys were also arrested on intimidation charges and taken to a youth detention center.
