Two Men Arrested After Leading Police On Chase Through Four Counties

The high-speed chase ended early Thursday morning with stop sticks in Wayne County.

HENRY COUNTY, Ind. -- A high-speed chase that went through four counties ended with two people being arrested early Thursday morning.

Police in Delaware County tried to stop Norman Stanley and Benjamin Veach, both of Huntington, around 12:30 a.m., but the men refused to pull over.

The chase continued on U.S. 35 into Henry and Randolph counties, before the car turned on to State Road 1 in Wayne County, and on to I-70.

Police set up stop sticks on the interstate, where the car drove over them, flattening the tires and eventually coming to a stop on U.S. 40.

When police arrested Stanley and Veach, they found meth and other drugs in the car. Now both men face numerous charges.
