Two Men Face Murder Charges In Killing Of Marion Man And Two Boys

Marion Police say Lemere Jones and Demeterius Jackson are both responsible for the deaths of Javon Blackwell, Sr. and his two young sons.

MARION, Ind. – Three people are facing charges after investigators say they were involved in the deaths of a man and his two young sons five days after Christmas.

Marion Police say Lemere Jones, 29, and Demeterius Jackson, 29, are both being held on charges including three counts of murder.

In addition, Brittany Drake, 25, of Marion is facing a charge of conspiracy to commit armed robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.

Officers say Javon Blackwell, Sr., 42, and his two sons Javon Blackwell, Jr., 12, and Jayzon Blackwell, 11, were found dead inside a home on Dec. 30.  Investigators say the three had been shot.

Detectives say the two boys lived in Anderson, but they were visiting their father in Marion at the time they were murdered.
