Two Others Charged With Murder In Deputy Pickett's Death
LEBANON, Ind. -- More charges have been filed in the Deputy Jake Pickett murder investigation.
A probable cause affidavit says 25-year-old John Ball and John Baldwin, Jr are now being charged with murder. Prosecutors say Ball provided the handgun that Anthony Baumgardt used to shoot Deputy Pickett while he was being chased.
Baldwin is charged since he drove the get away car that Baumgardt initially fled in before taking off on foot. In addition to the handgun, Ball is also accused of fronting meth to both Baumgardt and Baldwin to sell it later.
Baumgardt is facing the death penalty for murdering Pickett.
