Two People Killed in Hamilton Co. Crash

Sheriff's deputies say the driver's Mercedes left the road and hit several trees, killing the driver and passenger.

FISHERS, Ind. - Two people died Wednesday morning in a crash in Hamilton County.

The crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. in the 10700 block E. 121st Street, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say Daveneet Chahal was driving east when, for an unknown reason, the car left the road and hit several trees.

Chahal and a passenger in the front seat, 19-year-old Varundeep Bring, were killed.

A passenger in the back of the car, Gurjot Sandhu, was taken to St. Vincent Hospital.

Police are still investigating the crash.
