Tyler Trent Gets His Own Bobblehead; Portion of Sales Go to Charity

The bobblehead features Tyler in a Purdue jacket and a "Cancer Sucks" t-shirt underneath.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.  -- Tyler Trent, the Purdue University student who has captivated the nation with his courage, now has his very own bobblehead.

Tyler has a rare form of terminal bone cancer, but he doesn't let that stop him from cheering on his beloved Boilermakers football team. He recently helped motivate the Boilers to a win over the Ohio State Buckeyes in a nationally-televised game. The passion for life -- and for football -- Tyler displayed has drawn the attention and affection of people from across the country.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has now unveiled an officially-licensed Tyler Trent bobblehead. It features Tyler in a Purdue jacket and gold "Cancer Sucks" t-shirt, black pants, and white sneakers.

The bobblehead costs $30 plus shipping and handling fees.

$5 from each bobblehead sold will be split between the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Tyler Trent Cancer Research Endowment, charities chosen by Tyler himself.

Bobbleheads are expected to ship in February 2019.
