UPDATE: Missing Taylor Student Found Safe

Luke Skawski, a senior at the school, was last seen walking north on First Street near Reade Avenue around 5:00 Wednesday. 

UPDATE: The family of Taylor senior Luke Skawski has notified Taylor University that Luke is home and safe.

UPLAND, Ind.-- A student from Taylor University has been missing since Wednesday. 

Luke Skawski, a senior at the school, was last seen walking north on First Street near Reade Avenue around 5:00 Wednesday. 

Offices say he was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, dark shorts, a Toronto Maple Leafs baseball hat and carrying a red draw-string backpack.

He is 5-foot-7 and weighs 170 pounds. Family and friends say he has a short haircut. 

Anyone with information is asked to call Chief of Taylor Police Jeff Wallace at 765-998-5396.
