Weed, Edibles, Pills, Cash and Guns Lead to Two Arrests

Two people were arrested after a search by Indy Metro Police turned up marijuana, THC-laced gummies, and thousands of Xanax pills.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) -- Two people have been arrested after police found drugs, guns and cash inside a house on Indy's northeast side.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said 22-year-old Jordan Taylor and 22-year-old Daijah Jones were arrested following a search of a residence in the 6600 block of Maple Glen Drive.

A search of the place on Friday led officers to 50 pounds of marijuana, 10 pounds of THC-laced candy and "several hundred" tubes of THC vaping cartridges. Thousands of Xanax pills were found as well.

Nine firearms were also seized along with more than $5,400 in cash.

Both face several felony and misdemeanor charges.
