Wienermobile To Make Stop In Indianapolis

The iconic vehicle will be at the Indiana State Museum on Tuesday, May 28.

INDIANAPOLIS -- You'll soon have an opportunity to see an iconic vehicle.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be making a stop in Indianapolis next week.

Hayley Rozman, or better known as "Habanero Hayley," and her co-driver "Ketchup Kyle" will be driving the 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels into the Circle City on Tuesday, May 28.

It's the final stop of their year-long tour all across the country.

"I started out west for the first half, from California to Colorado," Rozman said. "Now I'm wrapping up the tour, where we've hit the southeastern region."

They're currently in Charlotte, North Carolina, promoting this weekend's NASCAR race, the Coca-Cola 600, and Ryan Newman's No. 6 car, sponsored by Oscar Mayer.

Rozman has always been fascinated by the Wienermobile, especially when it made a stop at her college in Wisconsin during her Freshman year.

"I took a really bad selfie with it as it drove past us in the dead of winter," Rozman said. "From that moment on, I kept seeing Oscar Mayer ads. Anytime I saw something related to the Wienermobile, I would take a photo with it."

She used that collection of photos during her interview process with the company to prove how much she loved the Wienermobile, and it helped her land the job to drive the iconic vehicle.

She's been the driver since June 2018, and is now finishing her tour across the United States.

"This job was everything I hoped it would be," Rozman said. "You get to travel, you get to make people happy with one of America's most recognizable vehicle."

You can visit Hayley, Kyle, and the Wienermobile at the Indiana State Museum next Tuesday. They'll be there for the Five Fifty Fifty 5K, starting at 5 p.m.
