Winter Weather Advisory: Freezing Rain Possible

Temperatures stay below freezing and precipitation moves in overnight.

INDIANAPOLIS--A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of Central Indiana late tonight through early Sunday afternoon. Freezing rain is possible.

"Light freezing rain develops after midnight and will continue into the first half of Sunday," said RTV 6 meteorologist Kyle Mounce.

Ice accumulation of up to .10 on an inch could make roads and sidewalks quite slick by Sunday morning.  Far northern areas will see mainly snow. One to two inches of snow is possible along and north west of a Lafayette to Peru line.

A nicer stretch of weather comes our way early in the work and school week.  We'll get to enjoy lots of sunshine and a gradual warming trend.
