Woman Accused in Fatal Fulton Co. Crash Pleads Not Guilty

Alyssa Shepherd was charged with reckless homicide.

ROCHESTER, Ind.--The woman accused of speeding and hitting four kids with her pickup truck, killing three of them in Fulton County, has pleaded not guilty, reported WSBT.

Alyssa Shepherd, 24, was charged with three counts of reckless homicide and one count of passing a bus resulting in injury.

Shepherd will be back in court Feb. 5.

Twin six-year-old boys, Xzavier and Mason Ingle, died in the wreck. Their nine-year-old sister, Alivia Stahl, was also killed.

Shepherd's crumpled pickup truck could be seen where the wreck happened for several hours after it happened. Officers who were investigating the crash did not speculate on what they believe was the cause, at least publicly.
