Woman Killed in Crash on I-70 on Indy's West Side
INDIANAPOLIS -- A crash killed a woman Wednesday morning on I-70 near the Indianapolis International Airport.
It happened in the westbound lanes of I-70 near Ronald Reagan Parkway around 5:30 am.
Officers say 53-year-old Laura Moreno Bravo was in the median of I-70 with a flat tire and was waiting for help when a pickup truck hit her car and killed her.
The crash has caused a backup.
Indiana State Police Sergeant John Perrine sent out a tweet about how drivers can get around the accident.
Emergency crews are on scene of a fatal crash on I-70 westbound at the 71.6mm on the collector ramp
The main line is open, if you’re I-465 to I-70 WB you will be able to pass the crash scene on the shoulder
Expect delays in the area for at least another hour
