(Washington, DC) — The FDA is authorizing Moderna and Pfizer’s COVID-19 shots for kids as young as six-months-old.
This makes almost every person in the U.S. eligible for vaccination against the virus. The decision comes after its committee of vaccine experts voted to recommend the shots.
The CDC will meet Saturday to vote on guidelines for pharmacies and doctor’s offices.
