Former Pres. Jimmy Carter Hospitalized After Fracturing Pelvis
PLAINS, Ga. -- Former President Jimmy Carter is in the hospital after a fall at his Georgia home.
The 95-year-old suffered a minor pelvic fracture in the fall Monday night, according to the Carter Center.
"He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home," the Carter Center said on Twitter.
It's Carter's second fall this month. The previous one left him with 14 stitches.
Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter had a fall yesterday evening at his home in Plains, Ga. He has been admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for observation and treatment of a minor pelvic fracture. He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home.
