NEW YORK — The National September 11 Museum is launching an initiative to make sure the next generation “never forgets” about 9-11.
The Never Forget Fund would provide educational programming for students and teachers on the history and impact of the 2001 terror attacks.
The president of the September 11 Museum says a younger generation of Americans doesn’t remember 9-11, so “for them, it’s history.”
Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the attacks on New York’s World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash of an airliner in a Pennsylvania field, nearly 20 years ago on September 11th.
