Former Indiana Congressman's Wife Considering A Run For Indiana House

Christy Stutzman says she is giving serious consideration to a bid for a seat representing parts of Elkhart County in the Indiana House.

ELKHART, Ind. -- Christy Stutzman, the wife of former Indiana Congressman Marlin Stutzman, has announced on her Facebook page that she is considering a run for the Indiana House of Representatives.

Christy Stutzman made the following post Wednesday, Dec. 7:

 

Marlin Stutzman represented Indiana's 3rd Congressional District in northeastern Indiana from Nov. 2010 to Jan. 2017. He lost his bid for U.S. Senate by losing to then-Congressman Todd Young in the May 2016 primary. According to Christy Stutzman's Linkedin profile, she is a Freelance Writer/Editor, as well as a Freelance Columnist for the Washington Times.
