EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Eli Manning is calling it quits on his football career.

He’s expected to make an official announcement on Friday. Manning was the Giants’ QB for 16 seasons and led the team to two Super Bowl titles while being named MVP of both those games.

He was a member of Big Blue for his entire career and holds the records for the most regular games played and total games played as a Giant.

Team owner and CEO John Mara says Manning defined what it is to be a New York Giant both on and off the field and looks forward to inducting him into the Giants’ Ring of Honor.
