"We had a good 2018," said Pacers coach Nate McMillan after the win. "We want 2019 to be just as good as 2018 has been to us. We've played some good basketball. One of our goals is to win 10+ games each month."
The Pacers exceeded that goal in December, going 12-3 over the final month of the calendar year.
"We're just continuing to learn each other and continuing to grow'" said Oladipo, in a news conference following the matinee at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. "Everybody's getting better and the scary part is we can improve. We can still get better and we're not even as close we need to be to get where we want to go."
The Pacers will be on the road, starting Friday. Their first game of 2019 will be at 8 p.m. against the Chicago Bulls.
