This years’ them is “POWER”. The Spirit & Place Festival is a celebration of the arts, humanities and religion to build bridges and recognize the places that make our community special. More than 110 partners have created 37 events in 32 venues across the city. It runs through the 12th and hours and locations vary daily.
8pm|Bankers Life Fieldhouse
6 time Grammy Award winning superstar and Rock &Roll Hall of Fame Inductee comes to Indy for one show! First solo appearance in Indianapolis in 18 years. The Lightbound Courtside Club opens at 6:15pm.

Experience the magic once more! Jack Everly conducts the ISO, as you watch Steven Spielberg’s cinematic masterpiece on the big screen! Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances.
SATURDAY, Nov. 4th
Along with a half marathon, 5K and kids “fun run”…Race weekend has lots of events for the whole family. Celebrating 10 years, The Monumental Marathon is now one of the 20 largest marathons in the country. Starting and finishing at the Indiana State Capitol…the course takes you through historical neighborhoods, and landmarks around Indianapolis.
8:30am|Center Grove High School
Come out and enjoy a day of shopping and support Center Grove Football! Over 250 Exhibitors, including arts, crafts, and handmade gifts. Breakfast and lunch available for purchase. $2 admission.
9am|Hamilton County Fairgrounds
Over 60 handmade artisans at the Indy MADE Market! Browse booth after booth of unique handmade items. Each space is designed like a mini shop. Goes until 2pm!
10am|Bent Rail Brewery
Sip, and sample a variety of Indiana Coffee Roasters! A special brunch menu will feature local foods, plus you’ll learn how to grind and roast beans for the very best cup of coffee! Free admission.
10am|Saxony Hall – Fishers
Over 2,000 sq. ft. of LEGO creations presented by Brickworld and you can see it for FREE with a donation of a non-perishable food item. Bring the whole family for a great cause! Donations benefit the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank. Goes until 6pm.
10am|Indiana State Museum
This is an outstanding exhibit I hope every Hoosier gets a chance to see before it closes on Veterans Day. It celebrates the contributions of Indiana Veterans, and offering resources available to Veterans returning home. You are asked to participate by electronically contributing pictures of Veterans and active duty personnel. The State Museum is also having a canned food drive for the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation. FREE Admission for Veterans.
The 911 Slugfest is an amateur boxing competition between Indiana’s finest police officers and bravest firefighters. All proceeds benefit The Make A Wish Foundation. Doors open at 5:30 with matches beginning at 7:30pm. The police and fire teams consists of 13 fighters. They are also fighting for possession of the “Staff of Champions”, their roving team trophy. Tickets start at $10.
Opening weekend of a one of a kind experience. Learn what it was like to be a slave on the Underground Railroad in this award winning, intense reenactment. You must be 12+ to participate. Other dates include Nov. 9-11, and 16-18.

The two time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, co-founder of the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash makes a stop in Carmel, showcasing his skills as the brilliant songwriter that he is!

Chocolate Sunday is an annual luncheon and chocolate extravaganza to support the Alzheimer’s Association. There are also some fantastic “chocolate” silent auction items! $100. Per person.
7pm|The Carmel Palladium
Actor and teen idol…Rick Springfield burst into stardom in the ‘80’s with 16 Top 40 hits, including “Jesse’s Girl”. This tour is said to be an interactive performance, exploring the stories behind the songs.
7:30pm|Bankers Life Fieldhouse
She’s one of a kind! Grammy and Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominated Lady Gaga stops in Indy for one night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
