93 WIBC Wins Awards For Best Newscast, "Chicks On The Right"

Mock, Daisy and News Anchor C.J. Miller are among the winners during Friday's awards ceremony.

INDIANAPOLIS -- 93 WIBC collected two awards during the annual Spectrum Awards ceremony Friday hosted by the Indiana Broadcasters Association:

     BEST NEWSCAST: C.J. Miller

     RADIO STATION BROADCAST PERSONALITY OR TEAM: The Chicks On The Right

This marks the second straight year 93 WIBC has won the Best Newscast award.  

WIBC's sister station 107.5 and 1070 The Fan won the IBA Spectrum Award for Best Radio Commercial.

In addition, the Indiana Broadcasters Association inducted four members into its Indiana Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame, including former WIBC sports broadcaster Joe McConnell and retired RTV6 news reporter Jack Rinehart.
