Alicia Hobson, the mother of a Utah sixth-grader at Rich Middle School claims her daughter was forced to dance with a boy who made her feel uncomfortable at the annual Valentine’s Day dance, according to a report from Fox News affiliate KSTU. Hobson said the principal told her daughter, Azlyn, she wasn’t allowed to say “no.”

Azlyn’s mom told KSTU her daughter should have the right to say “no,” and was quoted by the Washington Post as saying the school was helping to perpetuate “rape culture.”

Kip Motta, Principal at Rich Middle School, later clarified to local media outlets that kids do have the right to say “no”; however, they must communicate their wishes to him in advance.”

WIBC host Tony Katz commented on the controversy Thursday morning.

“There is something that has to be taught early on, which is that you are only free if you have the right to say ‘no.’

“For the purpose of equality, it is amazing how much you will be subjugated.

“The policy here is so that people don’t feel bad. And the diversity crew – the woke folk – they always love it when people don’t feel bad. The unintended consequence of the trying to force policies so that people don’t feel bad is that people have to feel bad, or forced to not even admit that they feel bad – too keep it deep inside of them.

“This girl isn’t allowed to have her own mind? That’s madness, and if you’re not teaching your daughters that they have the right to say ‘no’ and to tell the principal to ‘kiss off,’ you’re doing it wrong.”

Whatever you do, make sure your teenage sons and daughters mind their manners at these school functions and treat each other with respect. Otherwise, bad things happen. Remember “Carrie?”

‘Nuff said.
