Great. Now Coming Through the South Split..

Moving to the south part of I-65/70, or the south split, things remain mostly unchanged except for one key difference. Traffic exiting onto northbound I-65/70 from eastbound I-70 (from the airport) or continuing on northbound I-65/70 from northbound I-65 (from Southport/Greenwood) will be pushed off at the Washington St. exit.

This makes the Washington St. exit from northbound I-65/70 prime real estate during construction, and you can bet your bank account the delay from both eastbound I-70 and northbound I-65 will be considerable. I’m staying clear, at least for the first week. Let’s figure out what we’re up against and go from there.
