Indianapolis – Darius Leonard entered the 2021 season not 100%. 2 offseason ankle surgeries limited the Colts star linebacker the entire season. Even though it was obvious to fans that he wasn’t 100%, Leonard still played to his billing as the highest paid LB in the NFL and was a Pro Bowler and 1st team All-Pro.
On the 1st day of Mandatory Minicamp, Colts Head Coach Frank Reich shared the news that Leonard once again will have offseason surgery but on his back this time, not the ankle.
Surgery went well, feeling amazing and ready to get back going! If you know me you know I always come back way better than I was! Let’s go man ankle feels amazing and can’t wait to get back moving! Thanks for the texts and calls! https://t.co/jMpee1PStc
